This is an estimate, not an offer. The figures above are produced by a standard EMI formula using the numbers you typed. They are not a quotation and do not come from any lender.

Your actual EMI is decided by the concerned bank or NBFC, and will depend on the interest rate it offers you, the loan amount it sanctions, the tenure it approves, processing fees, insurance and other charges. Kkhatu Shyam Finance Corporation is not a bank or NBFC and does not sanction or disburse loans.

How an EMI is worked out

हर EMI के दो हिस्से होते हैं — principal (मूल राशि) और interest (ब्याज)। शुरुआती EMIs में interest का हिस्सा ज्यादा होता है, और समय के साथ principal का हिस्सा बढ़ता जाता है।

Three things change your EMI

  • Loan amount — a bigger loan means a bigger EMI.
  • Interest rate — even a small change in rate changes the total interest a lot over a long tenure.
  • Tenure — a longer tenure lowers the monthly EMI but increases the total interest you pay overall. Try it above: raise the tenure and watch the EMI fall while total interest rises.

What this calculator does not include

Processing fees, documentation charges, insurance premiums, stamp duty and any other lender charges are not part of this calculation. Those are set by the lender and add to your real cost. Our article on costs beyond EMI explains them.
